Jason took our riverfront property to market on in what looked like promising conditions however the market unfortunately deteriorated as the auction programme proceeded. Top price of the day went to a Greek businessman who was on a beach in Greece when his large, four bedroom house at 28 Lama Street Chelmer sold for $1.361 million. Auctioneer Jason Adcock of Adcock Prestige had 10 registered bidders who took the offers from $1m to $1.36 million before the property was declared "on the market" on telephoned instructions from Greece. There was only one fresh bid of $1000 from a Brisbane stockbroker who had waited until then to make his only offer, with success. The buyer told Mr Adcock he planned to totally renovate the home which has a pool and tennis court, before moving in.
